การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) พัฒนาฐานความรู้ทางสถิติ และ 2) ประเมินฐานความรู้ทางสถิติที่พัฒนาขึ้น การวิจัยเป็นการวิจัยแบบวิจัยและพัฒนาที่มีขั้นตอนการวิจัย 3 ขั้นตอน คือ 1) ขั้นเตรียมการพัฒนาฐานความรู้ทางสถิติ 2) ขั้นออกแบบและพัฒนาฐานความรู้ทางสถิติและ 3) ขั้นประเมินฐานความรู้ทางสถิติ ซึ่งผู้วิจัยได้คัดเลือกข้อมูลจากแหล่งความรู้ในอินเทอร์เน็ต ตั้งแต่เดือนพฤศจิกายน 2553 – พฤษภาคม 2555 เพื่อจัดทำเนื้อหาฐานความรู้ทางสถิติ โดยฐานความรู้ทางสถิติที่พัฒนาขึ้นได้ให้ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศจำนวน 5 คน และผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านสถิติจำนวน 5 คน เป็นผู้ประเมิน โดยใช้แบบประเมินแบบ Rating Scale 4 ระดับ ได้แก่ ระดับควรปรับปรุง ระดับพอใช้ ระดับดี และระดับดีมาก สำหรับสถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัย คือ 1) ได้ฐานความรู้ทางสถิติที่เกิดจากการออกแบบโครงสร้างฐานความรู้ทางสถิติ (Site Map) อยู่บนเว็บไซต์ www.statisticsknowledge.com ประกอบด้วยเมนูหลัก 6 เมนู ได้แก่ 1. เมนูหน้าแรก 2. เมนูมุมความรู้ประกอบด้วยเมนูย่อย 2 เมนู คือ เมนูมุมอาจารย์ และ เมนูมุมนักศึกษา 3. เมนูแผนผังเว็บไซต์ 4. เมนูลิงค์เพื่อนบ้าน ประกอบด้วยเมนูย่อย 2 เมนู ได้แก่ เมนูในประเทศ และเมนูต่างประเทศ 5. เมนูคุยความรู้สถิติและ 6. เมนูติดต่อเรา 2) ผลจากการสอบถามความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับรูปแบบการนำเสนอและเทคนิคการพัฒนาฐานความรู้ทางสถิติ โดยภาพรวมความคิดเห็นอยู่ในระดับดีมาก และผลความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับเนื้อหาฐานความรู้ทางสถิติ ปรากฏว่าเนื้อหาในทุกเมนูอยู่ในระดับดีมาก แต่ผู้เชี่ยวชาญได้ให้ข้อเสนอแนะเพิ่มเติมในการปรับสีและขนาดตัวอักษรในบางเมนู ให้มีความชัดเจน และควรมีรูปภาพประกอบให้มากขึ้นเพื่อเพิ่มความดึงดูดใจในการเข้าไปใช้งาน

The objectives of this research were to: 1) develop a statistical knowledgebase, and 2) evaluate the developed statistical knowledgebase. The research consisted of three phases: 1) development preparation of the statistical knowledgebase, 2) design and development of the statistical knowledgebase, and 3) evaluation of the developed statistical knowledgebase. Data information were selected and collected from learning resources through internet during November 2010 to May 2012 for developing the statistics knowledgebase. Then, 5 information technology experts and 5 statistical experts evaluated the statistical knowledgebase by using four scales of rating, namely: need to be improved, fair, good and very good. Analytical statistics used were mean and standard deviation.

The research findings were: (1) the statistical knowledgebase was designed and developed using the structure of statistical knowledgebase (Site Map). It was posted in the website- http://www.statisticsknowledge.com/. The main menu consisted of six sub-menus: 1) Home menu, 2) View knowledge menu which consisted of two sub-menus including 2.1) Teacher menu and 2.2) Student menu, 3) Site map menu, 4) Links menu consisted of two sub-menus including Local menu and International menu, 5) Statistical Knowledge Chat menu and 6) Contact-us menu (2) The presentation and techniques in developing statistical knowledgebase were rated by the information technology experts at an excellent level.  And the content of the developed statistical knowledgebase was also ranked in an excellent level by the statistical experts.  However, some experts recommended to improve font size and color of some menus.  They also suggested to include more illustrations to increase more attraction.
