การวิจัยครั้งนี้วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) สร้างชุดฝึกอบรมทางไกล เรื่อง การสอนภาษาอังกฤษ เพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะครูภาษาอังกฤษระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย ในจังหวัดนนทบุรี (2) ศึกษา ผลการใช้ชุดฝึกอบรมทางไกล เรื่อง การสอนภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะครูภาษาอังกฤษระดับ มัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย ในจังหวัดนนทบุรี และ (3) ศึกษาความพึงพอใจที่ครูมีต่อชุดฝึกอมรมทางไกล เรื่อง การสอนภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะครูภาษาอังกฤษระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายใน จังหวัดนนทบุรี

                กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้คือ ครูภาษาอังกฤษระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย ในจังหวัดนนทบุรีจำนวน 26 คน ได้มาโดยการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย ชุดฝึกอบรม แบบ ประเมินคุณภาพชุดฝึกอบรม แบบทดสอบก่อนและหลังการใช้ชุดฝึกอบรม  และแบบสอบถามความ พึงพอใจที่มีต่อชุดฝึกอบรมหลังการใช้ชุดฝึกอบรม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ การหา ประสิทธิภาพด้วยค่า E1/E2 การทดสอบหาค่าที่ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

                ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) ชุดฝึกอบรมทางไกล เรื่อง การสอนภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อพัฒนา สมรรถนะครูภาษาอังกฤษระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายในจังหวัดนนทบุรี มีประสิทธิภาพ 80.64/80.77 เป็นไปตามเกณฑ์ 80/80 (2) ผลการใช้ชุดฝึกอบรมทางไกล เรื่อง การสอนภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อพัฒนา สมรรถนะครูภาษาอังกฤษ มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ.05 และ (3) ความพึงพอใจที่ครูมีต่อชุด ฝึกอมรมทางไกล เรื่อง การสอนภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะครูภาษาอังกฤษอยู่ในระดับ มากที่สุด

The purposes of this research were (1) to develop a distance training package on "Teaching English in Order to Improve Efficiency of Secondary School English Teachers in Nonthaburi Province", (2) to study the result of the developed package, and (3) to study the opinion of English teachers on the quality of a Distance Training Package.

                The samples of the study included 26 English teachers in Nontaburi Prov- ince, obtained by purposive sampling technique. The instruments included (1) a distance learning package on the foundation of English pronunciation for teachers (2) two parallel forms of an achievement test for pre-testing and post-testing, and 3) the questionnaires eliciting the teachers' opinions towards the quality of the distance training package. Statistics used were the E1/E2 index, t-test, mean, and standard deviation.

                The research finding showed that (1) the distance training package were efficient at 80.64/80.77 according to the standard criterion of 80/80; (2) the learn- ing progress of the teachers interacting with the distance learning package was significantly higher at the.01 level; and the opinions of the teachers towards the distance learning package was averagely rated as "Mostly Agreeable".
