วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษากระบวนการสอน การเลือกใช้แบบเรียนเชลโลของครูผู้สอนต่อผู้เรียนตาบอด ตลอดจนศึกษาปัญหาอุปสรรคและแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นระหว่างเรียน ของวงออร์เคสตราคนตาบอดมูลนิธิธรรมิกชนเพื่อคนตาบอดในประเทศไทยในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ โดยใช้วิธีการสัมภาษณ์ครูสอนเชลโลที่มีประสบการณ์การสอนมาเป็นระยะเวลาไม่ต่ำกว่า 3 ปี เป็นจำนวน 5 คนโดยมุ่งเน้นประเด็นการศึกษาไปที่กระบวนการสอน และการเลือกใช้แบบเรียน ทั้งที่เป็นการเรียนการสอนแบบตัวต่อตัวและแบบกลุ่มเล็ก รวมถึงศึกษาปัญหาต่าง ๆ ที่ผู้สอนประสบไปจนถึงแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหา

จากผลการศึกษาพบว่า ครูผู้สอนได้เตรียมความพร้อมโดยการสอบถามข้อมูลพื้นฐานรวมถึงความสนใจเกี่ยวกับด้านดนตรีและอื่น ๆ ของผู้เรียน อีกทั้งครูผู้สอนทั้ง 5 ท่านได้เลือกใช้แบบเรียนที่เหมือนกันจำนวน 3 แบบเรียน สำหรับปัญหาที่ครูผู้สอนพบคือการสอนผู้เรียนที่ตาบอดสนิท เพราะผู้เรียนไม่สามารถเลียนแบบผู้สอนได้ และจำเป็นต้องใช้โน้ตดนตรีที่เป็นอักษรเบรลล์ในการเรียนการสอน ส่วนผู้เรียนตาบอดที่เลือนรางไม่สามารถอ่านโน้ตดนตรีอักษรเบรลล์ได้ จึงจำเป็นต้องใช้โน้ตดนตรีสากลที่มีการขยายให้ใหญ่กว่าปกติ ดังนั้นครูผู้สอนจำเป็นต้องแยกการเรียนการสอนระหว่างผู้เรียนที่ตาบอดสนิทกับผู้เรียนที่ตาบอดเลือนราง และเตรียมโน้ตดนตรีให้เหมาะกับผู้เรียนทั้ง 2 ประเภท

The objectives of this thesis were to study the process of teaching, the selection of teaching methods, as well as problems and solutions that occurred during the learning process of the blind symphony orchestra of the Christian Foundation for the Blind in Thailand. Data were collected through interviews with five cello expert teachers with at least three years of teaching experience. The study focused on the teaching process, the selection of teaching methods, and problems and solutions that the teachers experienced in private lessons and small group lessons.

The results revealed that the teachers did the teaching preparation based on the primary query about their students’ musical interests and other interests. All teachers chose the same three textbooks. The problems for the teachers were that the students who were totally blind could not imitate the teacher's gestures, and they needed the Braille sheet music in the learning process. Students who had low vision could not read the braille sheet music; thus, they needed sheet music with specially enlarged staves. Therefore, the teachers needed to separate two classes for those who were totally blind and those who had low vision for the learning process. The teachers also needed to prepare appropriate textbooks and sheet music for each type of students as well.
