การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่อง​ ดอกเบี้ยและมูลค่าของเงิน สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5  โดยการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบ Model – Eliciting Activities (MEAs) กับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 60 และ 2) ประเมินระดับความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหา เรื่อง​ ดอกเบี้ยและมูลค่าของเงิน สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โรงเรียนขนาดใหญ่แห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพมหานคร ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2563 ซึ่งได้มาจากการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม จำนวน 15 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลประกอบด้วย แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์แบบ Model – Eliciting Activities (MEAs) เรื่อง ดอกเบี้ยและมูลค่าของเงิน จำนวน 8 แผน แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่อง ดอกเบี้ยและมูลค่าของเงิน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้การคำนวณ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติทดสอบที

    ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 เรื่อง ดอกเบี้ยและมูลค่าของเงิน ที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์แบบ Model – Eliciting Activities (MEAs) หลังเรียนสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 60 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .05 และนักเรียนมีความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ในระดับดี

      The objectives of this research were 1) to compare the ability to solve mathematical problems on interest and value of money of Mathayomsuksa Five students using Model-Eliciting Activities (MEAs) measured with 60% standard criteria, and 2) to evaluate the level of ability to solve mathematical problems on interest and value of money of Mathayomsuksa Five students. The sample of this study consisted of Mathayomsuksa five students of a large school in Bangkok, enrolled in the second semester of Academic Year 2020. Fifteen students were selected by cluster random sampling. Research instruments included 8 mathematics learning management plans according to Model-Eliciting activities on interest and value of money, and a test to measure mathematical problem-solving abilities on interest and value of money. Data were analyzed using statistics including percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test.

       The research findings indicated that after studying with Model-Eliciting Activities (MEAs), the ability to solve mathematical problems on interest and value of money was higher than the 60% level criteria with a statistical significant level of .05. In conclusion, the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students was the “Good” level.
