การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดประสงค์ เพื่อ 1) สังเคราะห์เอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้องกับทักษะด้านสารสนเทศ สื่อ  และเทคโนโลยี  สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น  2) ศึกษาความคิดเห็นของครูเกี่ยวกับสภาพปัจจุบันและความต้องการในการพัฒนาทักษะด้านสารสนเทศ สื่อและเทคโนโลยี ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น และ 3) ศึกษาความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนเกี่ยวกับสภาพปัจจุบันของทักษะด้านสารสนเทศ สื่อและเทคโนโลยีในศตวรรษที่ 21 ประชากรได้แก่ ครูและนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น โรงเรียนสังกัดองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดศรีสะเกษ  ตัวอย่างได้แก่ ครูและนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3  โรงเรียนสังกัดองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดศรีสะเกษ  ได้มาโดยการ สุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ  1) แบบบันทึกการสังเคราะห์เอกสาร 2) แบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นของครูผู้สอนเกี่ยวกับสภาพปัจจุบันและความต้องการในการพัฒนาทักษะด้านสารสนเทศ สื่อและเทคโนโลยี และ3) แบบประเมินทักษะด้านสารสนเทศ สื่อและเทคโนโลยีของนักเรียน สถิติที่ใช้ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ยและส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ทักษะด้านสารสนเทศ สื่อและเทคโนโลยีประกอบด้วยความสามารถ   ใน 3 ประเด็น คือ ความสามารถในการใช้ การเข้าถึงและการประเมินสารสนเทศ สื่อและเทคโนโลยี 2) สภาพปัจจุบันและความต้องการในการพัฒนาทักษะด้านสารสนเทศ สื่อและเทคโนโลยี ตามความคิดเห็นของครูผู้สอน พบว่าผู้เรียน มีความสามารถในการใช้ การเข้าถึงและการประเมินสารสนเทศ สื่อและเทคโนโลยี มีค่าเฉลี่ยสภาพปัจจุบันและความต้องการในระดับปานกลาง สอดคล้องกับสถานะเร่งแก้ไข และ3) สภาพปัจจุบันของทักษะด้านสารสนเทศ สื่อและเทคโนโลยีตามความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง สอดคล้องกับสถานะเร่งแก้ไข

The objectives of this research were 1) to synthesize the documents that related to the information, media and technology skills for the junior high school students 2) to study an opinions of teachers related to the current conditions and needs for improving information, media and technology skills for the junior high school students 3)to study an opinions of students related to the current conditions of information and technology skills for the junior high school students. The population were the teachers and the junior high school students in the Sisaket Provincial Administrative Organization Schools. The samples were the teachers and the Mathayom Suksa 3 students in the Sisaket Provincial Administrative Organization School by multi-stage sampling. The research instruments were the documents synthesis form , the questionnaire for teacher’s opinions related to the current conditions and needs for improving information, media and technology skills and the students assessment form concerning information, media and technology skills. The statistics used in data analysis were mean and standard deviation. The findings revealed that 1) the information, media and technology skills consisted of the 3 capability such as accessibility, utilization and evaluation information,2) the current conditions and needs for improving information, media and technology skills according to the teacher’s opinion found that the students were able to accessibility, utilization and evaluation information, media and technology. The mean of current condition and needs was at average level which conformed to the hurriedly improving situation.3) the overall of information, media and technology skills according to the students’ opinion was at average level, which conformed to the hurriedly improving situation.
