การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาถึงความต้องการพัฒนาวิชาชีพ และศึกษาถึงแนวทางในการพัฒนาวิชาชีพบัญชีเพื่อนำไปใช้ในการพัฒนาตนเองของผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพบัญชี ในเขตอำเภอเมืองจังหวัดนครสวรรค์ โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลและได้ดำเนินการสุ่มตัวอย่าง 100 ตัวอย่าง จากผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพบัญชีในเขตอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครสวรรค์ วิธีการคัดเลือกตัวอย่างใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ และค่าสถิติไคสแควร์

ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ว่า กลุ่มผู้ตอบแบบสอบถาม

1. มีความต้องการพัฒนาวิชาชีพบัญชีเพื่อใช้ในการทำงาน โดยเรื่องที่ต้องการพัฒนามากที่สุดคือ การจัดเตรียมข้อมูลเพื่อจัดทำงบการเงินให้มีคุณภาพน่าเชื่อถือและสามารถใช้ประโยชน์ได้โดยให้เป็นไปตามมาตรฐานการบัญชี คิดเป็นร้อยละ 79 และด้านการวางแผนภาษีอากร ทั้งในระยะสั้นและระยะยาวคิดเป็นร้อยละ 74 และด้านการใช้คอมพิวเตอร์และโปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปทางบัญชี คิดเป็นร้อยละ 71

2. มีแนวทางที่เหมาะสมที่จะนำไปใช้ในการพัฒนาวิชาชีพบัญชีของตนเอง ได้แก่ เข้ารับการฝึกอบรม สัมมนาทางด้านวิชาชีพบัญชี คิดเป็นร้อยละ 59 และมีโครงการศึกษาต่อทางด้านการบัญชีในระดับที่สูงขึ้นโดยมีการเลือกสถาบันการศึกษาที่มีมาตรฐานทางการศึกษา มีการรับรองจากกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 51

The purpose of this research was to study the need of the accounting professionals to develop themselves in their own careers. Samples were selected from accounting professionals in Amphur Muang, Nakornsawan province. Questionnaires were used as tools for collecting data. Sample size used was 100 samples. Purposive sampling was employed in this research. Statistical analysis was carried out by using percentage and Chi-square. The results of the research were as the following: 1. The respondents needed to upgrade their accounting knowledge for their professional use. Their top priorities in descending order, included the knowledge of how to collect accounting information needed to prepare reliable and useful financial statement that conform to the accounting standard (79% of the case), short-term and long-term tax planning ( 74% of the case), computer application and application of accounting sofeware (71% of the case). 2. According to the respondents’ opinion, in order to upgrade their accounting knowledge, there were numerous ways available for them. The two top alternatives included formal training as well as seminar (59% of the case), while 52% ot the case were interested in higher education in accounting program offered by those respectable educational institutions certified by the Ministry of Education.
